David J. Mitchell – Principal and Director of Video Production 

David Mitchell is the director at Video Production at Pyxis Productions. David was director of WCVB---TV5 between 2005 and 2011 where his responsibilities included directing newscasts, Chronicle, lottery cut-ins and news updates and several episodes of Patriots All-Access. Prior to this David was director of WBZ-TV4 where he directed newscasts, lottery cut-ins and news updates. David also worked as Director/technical director and technical crew chief for live newscasts and public affairs programming at New England Cable news as well as the UPN38 Prime News at 10. He has extensive pre-production and post-production experience working with Emmy award winning promotions and graphics department creating on-air animations and promotional campaigns.
